Dr. Annie Law is a Senior Consultant Rheumatologist and Medical Director at Asia Arthritis & Rheumatology Centre, with a strong subspecialty focus on Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). She speaks English, Chinese, and Malay, and is experienced in managing a wide range of rheumatological conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, gout, psoriatic arthritis, and vasculitis. With over a decade of dedicated service at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Dr. Law has led the subspecialty SLE clinic, offering specialized care to complex lupus patients. Her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care has earned her numerous accolades, including the SGH Service with a Heart and Singapore Health Quality Service awards.

Dr. Law obtained her medical degree from the National University of Ireland and completed her advanced training in Rheumatology at SGH. She achieved specialist accreditation from Singapore’s Ministry of Health in 2015. In 2017, she completed a prestigious HMDP fellowship on lupus flare management at Monash University, Australia, under Professor Eric Morand. Upon returning to Singapore, she applied her training to treat complex lupus cases and improve patient outcomes through evidence-based strategies.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Law is actively involved in lupus research and has been instrumental in establishing a lupus patient database at SGH. She participates in multiple clinical trials and research collaborations, notably co-discovering a potential protein therapy (CXCL-5) for lupus. Her work has been published in top-tier journals like Arthritis and Rheumatology and highlighted in Nature Reviews Rheumatology. Dr. Law is also a member of the Asia Pacific Lupus Collaboration, contributing to global studies on lupus care improvement and treatment optimization.
