Dr. Tan Ken Jin is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle disorders and sports injuries. He completed his medical training at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and earned the College of Surgeons Gold Medal for his excellence in advanced specialty training. He furthered his expertise through fellowships in Germany and the USA under renowned specialists.

Dr. Tan has extensive experience managing conditions like forefoot deformities, ankle arthritis, sports injuries, and foot trauma. He was a founding member of the Foot and Ankle Division at the National University Hospital (NUH) and served as Program Director for its fellowship training program. Additionally, he has worked as a Visiting Consultant at NUS, treating university students and staff.

Passionate about education, Dr. Tan has authored numerous articles, delivered lectures, and contributed to public forums to raise awareness of foot and ankle conditions. His research interests include biomechanics, injury management, and bone fusion biology, with over 20 published manuscripts.

Dr. Tan also participated in humanitarian efforts, joining NUH’s earthquake relief team in Indonesia and receiving the Minister for Health Award in 2006. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at NUS and continues to contribute to the field through clinical practice, education, and research.
