Dr. Gan served as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine within National University of Singapore (NUS).

The medical qualifications of Dr. Gan include his MBBS from the University of New South Wales Australia in addition to his credentials from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Academy of Medicine Singapore. Dr. Gan received the Best Educator Award and the Yahya Cohen Memorial Lectureship Award for his sinus surgery research throughout his professional career.

Through his research and teaching career Dr. Gan published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and acted as a reviewer for medical publications of high standing. He dedicates his time to instructing and instructing ENT residents and medical students. Dr. Gan has taken responsibility for multiple local and international sinus surgery courses while actively participating in their organization.

Dr. Gan serves as Honorary Treasurer of the Society of Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery Singapore and participates in multiple hospital committees while holding this position. Dr. Gan’s dedication to improving ENT surgery together with patient care earned him distinction as a foremost authority in his medical field.
