Dr. Ben Ng is a senior consultant endocrinologist with over 20 years of experience, providing comprehensive care for patients managing various endocrine conditions. His expertise encompasses a wide range of endocrinological problems including diabetes mellitus, obesity, and thyroid disorders, as well as androgen, reproductive, adrenal, and pituitary diseases. Dr. Ng has a special interest in patients with diabetes mellitus and thyroid disease. He is skilled in the initiation and treatment of patients requiring insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring systems. Dr. Ng is trained in the usage of thyroid ultrasound and in fine needle biopsy of the thyroid gland and has an interest in autoimmune thyroid disease and pregnant patients with thyroid disease.

Adjunct Assistant Professor Dr. Ben Ng Jen Min is an endocrinologist specializing in diabetes, obesity, and thyroid disorders. He earned his medical degree from Queen’s University of Belfast and completed dual accreditation in diabetes, endocrinology, and general internal medicine from the Royal College of Physicians (UK). He was awarded an MD with honors from the University of Hull for his diabetes research.

After returning to Singapore, Dr. Ng served as a consultant endocrinologist at Changi General Hospital and held academic roles at Duke-NUS and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. His expertise includes managing Type 1 diabetes, intensive insulin therapy, insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring, and autoimmune thyroid disease. He is also skilled in thyroid ultrasound and fine needle biopsies.

Dr. Ng developed the Living with Diabetes: Diet and Lifestyle (LiDDLe) program to support diabetes management tailored to Asian diets. Additionally, as the former director of the Eastern Community Health Outreach (ECHO), he led efforts to reduce diabetes prevalence in East Singapore. His dedication to patient care and community health remains central to his practice.
