Dr Choo Su Pin

Medical Oncologist BMedSci, BMBS(Nottm), MRCP(UK), FAMS (Medical Oncology)

Dr Choo Su Pin is a seasoned medical oncologist with over 20 years of experience, specializing in gastrointestinal cancers such as colorectal, pancreatic, liver, and upper GI cancers. She is currently in private practice and serves as a visiting consultant at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), where she previously held leadership roles including Deputy Head of Medical Oncology and Chief of the GI Cancer Department.
She graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School and holds fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and the Academy of Medicine (Singapore). Dr Choo has trained internationally, including a research fellowship at UCSF and participation in prestigious oncology workshops.
At NCCS, she contributed significantly to clinical research and development, establishing the experimental cancer therapeutics unit and leading multiple clinical trials. She also helped develop the GI cancer database and was actively involved in liver cancer research on both national and international levels.
Dr Choo has published in top-tier journals and presented globally. She holds academic appointments at Duke-NUS Medical School and formerly at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, organizing major oncology conferences such as ESMO Asia and the Asia-Pacific GI Cancer Summit.
Beyond clinical and academic roles, she holds leadership positions in the Singapore Cancer Society and the Academy of Medicine. She is the first female president of the Singapore Society of Oncology and co-founded its cancer immunotherapy consortium. Internationally, she serves on ESMO committees and pharmaceutical advisory boards.
Dr Choo is recognized for her contributions with accolades including the Gold Excellence Service Award and the National COVID-19 Award in 2022.

Dr Lynette Ngo

Medical Oncologist MBBS (S’pore), M Med (Int Med), MRCP (UK), Dip Palliative Med (Aus), FAMS (Medical Oncology)

Dr. Lynette Ngo is a medical oncologist specializing in women’s cancers, including breast and gynecologic cancers (ovarian, endometrial, uterine, and cervical). She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1996 and holds several advanced qualifications, including a Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine, a postgraduate diploma in Palliative Medicine, and specialist accreditation in medical oncology.
Dr. Ngo is affiliated with major oncology societies (ASCO, ESMO, ASGO, SSO) and contributes to the Singapore Cancer Network (SCAN) guidelines. Her career includes roles at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, Raffles Cancer Centre, and community hospice services. She has also served as a Clinical Tutor and Visiting Consultant at various medical centers.
Her key interests lie in breast and gynecologic cancers, hereditary cancers, genetic counselling, psychosocial oncology, and palliative care. She received the Health Manpower Development Programme Award to train at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she led research on targeted therapies for gynecologic cancers. Dr. Ngo has published extensively and initiated multiple clinical trials.
She founded the Raffles Cancer Support Programme in 2013 and established a hereditary cancer risk assessment clinic after completing a course at City of Hope Hospital in California.

Dr Toh Chee Keong

Medical Oncologist MBBS (S’pore), MRCP (UK), FAMS (Medical Oncology)

Dr Toh is a medical oncologist specializing in thoracic (lung and thymic), genitourinary (prostate, kidney, bladder, testicular), and head and neck cancers. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with the Gibb’s gold medal in 1995 and received specialist accreditation in Medical Oncology in 2004. His career has included stints at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, Raffles Cancer Centre (as Director of Clinical Research), and now, Curie Oncology.
He has been actively involved in clinical work, research, and teaching. Notably, he was among the first to study lung cancer in never-smokers and led the Lung Cancer Consortium at NCC, contributing significantly to lung cancer research in Asia. He has also been involved in pioneering immunotherapy treatments and participated in numerous clinical trials. Dr Toh has served on national cancer guideline panels and held academic roles at NUS and Duke-NUS.
