Dr. Johann Tang is a Senior Consultant and Medical Director at ME Novena Specialist Group, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, and an Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. He earned his medical degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and completed specialty training in Radiation Oncology at NUH Singapore. He holds fellowships from the Royal Australian College of Radiologists and has trained internationally in brachytherapy and proton therapy.

With 18 years at NUH, Dr. Tang has extensive experience treating a wide range of cancers and has led services in breast, gynaecological, paediatric oncology, and brachytherapy. He has spearheaded innovative treatments like APBI and image-guided cervical brachytherapy. A passionate researcher and educator, Dr. Tang has published extensively, secured research grants, and mentored future oncologists. He holds several prestigious academic and leadership roles, including being the first Singaporean Associate Editor of JMIRO.
