Dr. Eric Wee is a Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist at Nobel Gastroenterology Centre (Mount Elizabeth Novena) with over 20 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical and master’s degrees from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). He further specialized in advanced endoscopy through fellowships at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology and the Mayo Clinic (USA).

Dr. Wee focuses on diagnosing and treating digestive and bowel conditions, including gastric pain, acid reflux, bloating, irritable bowel syndrome, pancreatic diseases, and liver conditions like hepatitis, fatty liver, and cirrhosis. He is experienced in performing gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and advanced procedures such as ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, capsule endoscopy, and small bowel enteroscopy. He is also accredited in Fibroscan, a non-invasive liver evaluation technique.

Previously, Dr. Wee served as Head of the Division of Gastroenterology at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and held leadership roles in medical education and clinical programs. With over 10,000 endoscopic and 2,000 advanced procedures performed, he has earned multiple awards, including the Expat Living Readers’ Choice Awards, Alexandra Health Service Champion Award, and National Excellent Service Award.

A respected medical expert, Dr. Wee has assessed specialist treatments for the Academy of Medicine and served as a reviewer for insurance claim disputes. He has published extensively on gastroenterology topics and held roles in professional societies, including the Gastroenterological Society of Singapore.
