Dr. Alexandra Foo

D.P.M (UWA), BSc.

Alexandra Foo is a dedicated podiatrist with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy and Pathology from the University of Western Australia. Her background in sports, including field hockey, ultimate frisbee, and calisthenics, informs her expertise in sports podiatry.

She began her career at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, specializing in diabetic foot care within the multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot Unit. Her passion for biomechanics and sports medicine led her to become the Lead of the Sports Podiatry Service in the hospital’s Sports Medicine Department, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to treat sports-related injuries and optimize patient mobility.

Alexandra has also contributed to medical education, training students, doctors, and allied health professionals in diabetic foot management and sports podiatry. She has presented her insights at conferences, including the American College of Podiatric Medicine.
