Dr. Ng is a Singapore Colorectal Surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience, including more than 10 years as a specialist. He is a former President of the Society of Colorectal Surgeons Singapore (SCRS) and is renowned for his expertise in minimally invasive surgery (MIS). Dr. Ng routinely performs both simple and complex procedures using MIS, including robotic surgery, pelvic and para-aortic lymph node clearance, transanal endoscopic surgery, and colonic stenting.
His surgical skills have earned him international recognition, leading to numerous invitations to lecture and perform live demonstration surgeries at conferences and workshops across Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia, Myanmar, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Notably, in 2015, he became the first Singapore colorectal surgeon to showcase robotic colorectal surgery at the ISLCRS Congress.
In addition to his colorectal practice, Dr. Ng is also an expert in laparoscopic hernia repair, frequently lecturing and demonstrating his techniques globally.
