Helen Crawford

BSc Podiatric Medicine (London), FAETC, M.S.S.F, H.C.P.C. Registered (U.K.), Member Podiatry Association (Singapore)

Helen earned her degree in Podiatric Medicine with Distinction in London, gaining extensive experience in the UK, specializing in diabetic foot care and biomechanics. Since 1995, she has worked across various healthcare settings in Singapore, contributing to the establishment and management of podiatry departments in multiple hospitals. Her expertise has also led her to serve as a consultant for numerous government hospitals. Helen remains an active member of the Podiatry Association (Singapore) and is a certified shoe fitter.

Her personal experiences have shaped her special interest in pediatric podiatry. With a husband who has flat feet and children facing in-toeing and flat foot issues, Helen is particularly passionate about caring for young patients. Additionally, her husband’s back surgery sparked her interest in managing back problems caused by leg length discrepancies and foot-related issues. She collaborates closely with osteopaths, physiotherapists, Pilates instructors, dietitians, and orthopedic surgeons, believing that a holistic approach yields the best results.

Robert Ashton

BSc Hlth Sc Pod Member Podiatry Association (Singapore)

Robert is a highly experienced podiatrist who qualified from Charles Sturt University in Australia and began his career in New South Wales before moving to Singapore in 2006. He spent four years at Singapore General Hospital, gaining expertise across various aspects of podiatry.

Specializing in sports podiatry, biomechanics, and pediatric podiatry, Robert collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment plans. He has also worked with the National Indonesian Athletic Team, enhancing his knowledge of sports biomechanics while treating elite athletes, including Emil Nova, an Asian Games silver medalist.

His personal experience with multiple shoulder injuries and two ACL repairs has deepened his understanding of rehabilitation and injury prevention. Having competed in Australian Rules football, basketball, and touch rugby, Robert now focuses on maintaining an active lifestyle while minimizing injuries. He applies his extensive clinical knowledge to help patients recover and return to their activities as quickly as possible.

Lee Zhi Peng

Bachelor Health Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice La Trobe University Melbourne Australia

Zhi Peng is a dedicated podiatrist with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University, Australia, supported by the Ministry of Health Holdings’ Overseas Healthcare Scholarship. He previously worked at Changi General Hospital, where he gained extensive experience in dermatology, pediatrics, sports injuries, and wound care, collaborating with specialists from Sports Medicine, Vascular, and Plastic Surgery departments.

Before joining the Osteopathy & Podiatry Centre, Zhi Peng contributed to national healthcare policy development at Singapore’s Ministry of Health. His personal experience with lower back issues and surgery has deepened his empathy for patients, driving his holistic approach to pain management and rehabilitation.

An accredited Certified Wound Specialist (CWS®) by the American Board of Wound Management and a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, Zhi Peng stays updated on the latest clinical best practices through local and international conferences. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, running, and spending time with his four young nephews—often being chased around the house by them!
