Dr Colum Patrick Nolan

Dr. Colum Nolan is the Medical Director at Oxford Spine and Neurosurgery Centre at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore. He is a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon specializing in spine surgery, with extensive experience in treating complex spinal disorders, tumors, trauma, and performing minimally invasive procedures using spinal navigation technology.

He earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed neurosurgery training in Ireland, Australia, and the UK, including specialized fellowships in spine surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. Before entering private practice, Dr. Nolan served as Head of Service and Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI), leading the Spine and Spinal Disorders Programme. He was also Head of Neurosurgery at Sengkang General Hospital.

Dr. Nolan is actively involved in medical teaching and research, serving as a Visiting Consultant at NNI and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. He has published extensively, presented at global conferences, and served as a reviewer for medical journals. He is a member of numerous professional societies, including the Singapore Spine Society and the North American Spine Society.
