Dr. Radhika Lakshmanan is a Consultant Breast and General Surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and management of various breast conditions, including breast cancer. With expertise in oncoplastic breast surgery, a specialized technique combining cancer removal with aesthetic reconstruction, she is one of the few surgeons in Singapore trained in this field. Dr. Radhika completed her advanced training as an honorary clinical fellow at the Nottingham Breast Institute in the UK under a Ministry of Health scholarship. Additionally, she further enhanced her skills in minimally invasive breast procedures at Japan’s Kameda Medical Centre in 2015. She obtained her medical degree (MBBS) in 1997 in Singapore, followed by a Master of Medicine in Surgery and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008. Alongside her breast care practice, she is experienced in general surgery procedures like gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Fluent in English, Malay, and Tamil, Dr. Radhika actively participates in breast cancer awareness initiatives with the Singapore Cancer Society and the Breast Cancer Foundation. Her commitment to compassionate care and providing second opinions for complex breast cases underscores her dedication to her patients’ well-being.
