Dr Terence Aik Huang Tan

Dr. Terence Tan is a specialist in Medical Oncology with international training and experience. He earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed a Master’s in Molecular Medicine at Imperial College London. He trained in internal medicine at SUNY Buffalo and completed a medical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in New York.

Dr. Tan has worked in both academic and private cancer centers in Singapore and the USA. He is actively involved in international clinical trials and has developed tools to help patients access global trials and follow cancer prevention guidelines. His research includes the development of novel cancer bio-devices, supported by two EDB biomedical research grants.

His clinical expertise spans a wide range of cancers, including breast, lung, gastrointestinal, and more. He is also focused on cancer immunotherapy, precision oncology, genetic counseling, and preventive cancer medicine.
