Before joining private practice, he was a consultant at Changi General Hospital’s Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Law is a dedicated educator, having served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Graduate School of Medicine and Clinical Lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Dr. Alvin Ng Choon Yong is a Consultant Respiratory Physician and Intensivist at The Respiratory Practice. He has held prominent leadership roles, including President of the Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Vice President of the Singapore Thoracic Society, and an executive committee member of the Chapter of Intensivists, Academy of Medicine Singapore. Dr. Ng has a strong volunteer background with St John Brigade Singapore and has been involved since his secondary school days.
Dr. Ng received the Singapore Armed Forces Medical Scholarship in 1996 and graduated in 2001 from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Dr. Steve Yang is a highly qualified medical professional who earned his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 1994. Dr. Yip Hwee Seng is a Respiratory Physician and Intensivist with The Respiratory Practice, specializing in asthma, pneumonia, endobronchial ultrasound, intensive care, and point of care ultrasound. He previously worked as a Senior Consultant at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore, and served as the Clinical Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit from 2013 to 2019.
Dr. Yip graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2001 and completed his specialist training in Respiratory Medicine in 2010, followed by Intensive Care Medicine in 2012. He was awarded the Academic Medicine Development Award by NUH in 2012 and 2015, which allowed him to pursue further training and implement quality improvement initiatives at NUH, including a successful early mobilisation project inspired by Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr Lim Hui Fang is a respiratory physician and intensivist practicing at Mount Elizabeth Novena, Farrer Park, and Gleneagles Hospitals. She is also a visiting senior consultant at NUH and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NUS. Her specialties include complex airway diseases, such as severe asthma and bronchiectasis, as well as pneumonia, endobronchial ultrasound, and intensive care medicine.
She earned her MBBS from NUS in 2003, followed by MRCP (UK) and a Master’s in Internal Medicine in 2007. She received dual accreditation in Respiratory Medicine (2011) and Intensive Care Medicine (2013), and completed a fellowship in Severe Asthma at McMaster University in 2014–2015.
In 2017, she established the Complex Airway Clinic, offering multidisciplinary care for challenging airway conditions. She received the National Medical Excellence Award in 2015 for her team’s work on reducing pneumonia mortality. From 2018–2022, she advised MOH on the Singapore National Asthma Program.
Dr Lim is also active in medical education and research, having served as an undergraduate director at NUH and as Deputy Director of the NUS Immunology Translational Research Program. Her research focuses on asthma epidemiology, immune profiling, and pneumonia.

Dr. Jim Teo Yeow Kwan is a respiratory physician and intensivist practicing at Mt Alvernia Hospital and Parkway East Hospital. He specializes in internal medicine, respiratory medicine, and intensive care medicine, with a focus on asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease, non-invasive ventilation, and intensive care.
Dr. Teo graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1997 and completed his training in internal medicine, earning his Master of Medicine and MRCP (UK) in 2003. He further trained in respiratory and critical care medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), where he was accredited as a specialist in respiratory medicine in 2007. He also trained in Intensive Care Medicine in Australia and holds European Diplomas in both Intensive Care and Adult Respiratory Medicine.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Teo worked as a Consultant at TTSH, managing critically ill patients in the medical intensive care unit (MICU), including cases during the H1N1 pandemic and oncology patients from John Hopkins Singapore. He also introduced the first bedside percutaneous tracheostomy in the MICU. He was recognized for his contributions during the SARS outbreak in 2003, receiving the Courage Star Award, along with other honors for his service at TTSH.
