Dr. Yip Hwee Seng is a Respiratory Physician and Intensivist with The Respiratory Practice, specializing in asthma, pneumonia, endobronchial ultrasound, intensive care, and point of care ultrasound. He previously worked as a Senior Consultant at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore, and served as the Clinical Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit from 2013 to 2019.
Dr. Yip graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2001 and completed his specialist training in Respiratory Medicine in 2010, followed by Intensive Care Medicine in 2012. He was awarded the Academic Medicine Development Award by NUH in 2012 and 2015, which allowed him to pursue further training and implement quality improvement initiatives at NUH, including a successful early mobilisation project inspired by Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr Lim Hui Fang is a respiratory physician and intensivist practicing at Mount Elizabeth Novena, Farrer Park, and Gleneagles Hospitals. She is also a visiting senior consultant at NUH and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NUS. Her specialties include complex airway diseases, such as severe asthma and bronchiectasis, as well as pneumonia, endobronchial ultrasound, and intensive care medicine.
She earned her MBBS from NUS in 2003, followed by MRCP (UK) and a Master’s in Internal Medicine in 2007. She received dual accreditation in Respiratory Medicine (2011) and Intensive Care Medicine (2013), and completed a fellowship in Severe Asthma at McMaster University in 2014–2015.
In 2017, she established the Complex Airway Clinic, offering multidisciplinary care for challenging airway conditions. She received the National Medical Excellence Award in 2015 for her team’s work on reducing pneumonia mortality. From 2018–2022, she advised MOH on the Singapore National Asthma Program.
