Dr. Benjamin Chua is the Medical Director and Senior Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the Vascular & Interventional Centre (VIC) in Singapore, with clinics at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital, and a flagship clinic with a day surgery center at Novena Specialist Centre. Before founding VIC, he established and led the Department of Vascular Surgery at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), the first dedicated vascular department in Singapore.
Dr. Chua completed his medical training at the National University of Singapore before obtaining his Master of Health Science in Clinical Research from Duke University. Dr. Chua specializes in advanced endovascular surgery and completed his training in this field at Melbourne Australia. He functions as a regional expert who regularly teaches vascular procedures throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
His research activities include designing new surgical tools and obtaining competitive funding and patenting vascular surgery technologies. Dr. Chua specializes in treating aortic aneurysms and diabetic limb salvage and stroke prevention and vein diseases and vascular malformations through his clinical practice while implementing endovascular techniques for treating uterine fibroids and pelvic congestion syndrome.

Dr. Chen Min Qi is a fellowship-trained Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with extensive experience. He earned his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 2005, followed by qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSed and FRCSed) and a Master of Medicine in General Surgery.
Following his advanced training Dr. Chen established the Vascular Surgery division at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) before joining the institution. Dr. Chen spent 2018 at St Mary’s Hospital in London developing his expertise through complex aortic surgeries which included abdominal and thoracoabdominal aneurysms and lower limb revascularization. He took charge of the vascular service at Woodlands Health upon his return to Singapore in 2020 and dedicated his efforts to vascular service development and diabetic foot care.
As a core faculty member at NUHS, Dr. Chen teaches postgraduate students and also functions as a clinical tutor for undergraduate medical students and serves as an examiner at NUS. His work includes conference research presentations as well as contributions to vascular surgery publications and co-chairing the Woodlands Health INSPIRE 2022 Congress.
Dr. Chen started his practice at the Vascular and Interventional Centre during January 2023. He performs aortic and carotid artery and dialysis access and limb salvage and varicose vein surgeries.
